Having been established in
February 1995, Live to Ride MCC is the oldest Motorcycle club in Namibia
and prides itself on the membership of a strong brotherhood of Bikers
in Namibia.
What makes Live to Ride MCC unique to most other sports clubs, is that one of our main objectives is to support charity. Since its inception in 1995, Live
to Ride MCC has been successful in raising considerable funds for
charity by hosting three major events annually, namely, the Presidents Run, Big 5 Rally and Toy Run.
The annual Big Five Rally is Live
to Ride Windhoek's largest event. The main objective of this rally is
to generate funds to help individuals and charity organizations in need
of financial assistance. Bikers and friends from all over
Namibia and neighboring countries such as South Africa, Botswana and
Angola gather at this rally to renew friendships and to have a good
time. Touring bikers from Germany have also visited the Big Five Rally
en route to their next destination.
The first Big Five Rally was held in 2003 and has become one of the biggest annual events on the Biker calendar.
