Motor Vehicle Accident in 5th Street Walvis Bay

A 35-year old sustained serious injury in a Motor Vehicle Accident in 5th Street Walvis Bay in the early hours of Saturday morning. Preliminary indications are that the driver apparently drove on the wrong side of the road into a stationary trailer.
The driver - also sole occupant - had to freed from the wreckage by emergency service personnel using hydraulic equipment and after on-scene stabilization, the seriously injured was transported to the Walvis State Hospital by the St Gabriel Community Ambulance Service for further indefinite intervention.
